I did not realize "...the initial hook for this edition was that it would celebrate the Typ 917's wins in the 1972 and 1973 Canadian-American Challenge Cup - known more commonly as Can-Am..."

Thx Ken, I look forward to seeing it in print. It should contain new exciting details of the 914 LE, Jubilasaumsmodell (GT) and SL cars previously unknown. I was not the author, just contributed certain information. Alex, the editor was excellent work with.

you got to love the CAN-AM racing series.
all of it ----->off the dial. and those turbo 917s. .........best bit is they were going to crown the 914 with its glory. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) but the bumblebees are pretty horn too. i remember there used to be a fab creamsicle i would see every now and then all those years ago i lived in chicago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) boy..........makes me think of the USA whenever i remember it and what a gas time i had in your wonderful country.
