I have one available, AA repo, never used; I believe I paid 480 for it. 400 plus shipping to your front door. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

PMS used to sell a part like that. Cut down 911 pipe with a fitting welded on and then plated. It’s not a factory part but can be used for 914-6 conversions.
I think their description is totally wrong.

Ah okay thought I was missing something there because the PN. Are the short hoses to tank still available for this stock hardline?

Yes ….but aftermarket. AA and possibly others sell them as a “kit”.
You may also find individual pieces on evil bay.

The shorter hard line can make it easier to install on some non standard installations (larger engines, non stock exhaust). In my case, it didn't clearance well and I used stainless lines.

I have a spare Genuine metal line in So Cal if you did not end up finding one.
They are pricey to ship due the size. Send me a PM if interested maybe we can meet to exchange to save freight. Thanks Robert

I use the short PMS line to connect to a Mocal thermostat to support a front oil cooler. That stock line was designed for a 2.0 six that doesn’t need a front oil cooler.

I prefer running an AN 90 backwards and have the hose go over the bell housing then kick forward right next to the feed line. It clears all heat exchanger options

Ben made up one like he described for my next conversion car. It makes sense to me since it effectively keeps the hose away from the exhaust.
The oem hardline fits the oem 914-6 but doesn't always work as well with different engine, exhaust and engine mount combinations. Ben came up with a good alternative solution.

Thanks guys,

I do have one of bens oil lines on hand, i just was curious if it would be easier to have all cohline style fittings rather than a mix of those and AN fittings.
I know full well i am being difficult.

Im also trying to figure out how the lower fitting wants to come out of the tank and into the engine bay.

Depends on your oil tank oem vs ben's aluminum tank and if you are doing a front cooler.
If you are doing an aftermarket setup, it's usually easier to use a/n fittings and make your own lines. If it's oem/basically copying a real 914-6 and using a Porsche steel tank, then just stick to metric.
I know full well i am being difficult. No, there are lots of ways to skin this cat.

Im also trying to figure out how the lower fitting wants to come out of the tank and into the engine bay.

Drill a hole at the bottom of the driver side hell hole then screw in the line once the tank is mounted.

I understand that. Let me explain myself better
I know that in the factory car the lower oil fitting also seems to work as the third anchor on the tank from what I can tell, I want to see if i can replicate that for more tank security on my car.

10 years with the 2 8mm studs for an anchor have served my 914 well. # you are reinventing the wheel for no good reason
