I sent an email out to all the folks who attended my last Teener Turnout. If you didn't receive one, I'm including it here. If you'd like to travel from out of town,
I be happy to help you find a place to stay. More details will be released soon.

I haven't held a 914 gathering since the 50th anniversary event in 2019. It's time again to bring you folks together to socialize and enjoy the wonders of owning and driving one of Porsche's best creations.

This year's gathering will be on Saturday 9/13 and Sunday 9/14. It will all begin at this year's celebration for the 70th anniversary of the PCA. It's being held at the One Drivers Club in Redmond. If you're a
member of PCA, you wouldn't want to miss this event and it runs from 10:00 to noon. Our 914 gathering will actually start at 11:30, giving you time to tour the display of Porsches and hang with the folks
who haven't discovered the joys of driving a 50 year old mid engine car.

A route planner for the afternoon drive will be distributed and (hopefully) they'll include a group of questions you'll need to answer making it into a gimmick rally. If you don't have someone riding with you
to write down the answers, you can simply enjoy the twisty roads. The directions will lead you to a restaurant where you can turn in your answers and grab some dinner with your friends.

Sunday morning will be a pancake breakfast in Orting, WA. Once everyone gets their plates filled, we'll see a special presentation from Chris Baker (known to many as Tigaboy) who is famous for his Ferrari
powered 914 and his At The Red Barn Youtube channel.

Again we'll be distributing directions for you to take a drive to Wynoochee Dam Park in Montesano, WA. When you arrive we'll be sharing a picnic lunch. That's also when we'll be announcing the winners of the
gimmick rally. If I can gather enough donations , we'll have a drawing and some of you will take home more than memories.

As before, this is an event that my wife and I will be putting on and is NOT a PCA sanctioned activity. We're looking for help, if any of you can squeeze another project in your schedule, let us know.

We'll be sending more information in the days to come, but for now, just mark the date in your calendar so you don't miss this one.

Michelle and I are in. I haven't been a PCA member in 15 years, I'll look into fixing that.

I’m using Motorsportsreg to help manage the registration. It a Hagerty program that help you share car events and track people who want to attend. If you don’t want to use it, let me know and I’ll get record your information manually.

I was hoping to get the 914 back on road before then, but it’s not going to happen. Also, I’m already committed to Wagonfest at LeMay that weekend.
Have a great and safe event!

I’ll get the MSREG signup fixed this weekend but you can still use it to sign up. Join in on just the Saturday drive or the Sunday breakfast if your schedule doesn’t allow you to do both. I may change the Sunday drive so it doesn’t end so far south. We have so many great roads leading out of Orting.

I've revised the Sunday tour from Lake Wynoochee to Lake Tipsoo and Naches. We just felt that this route better served the local folks and offered an additional evening of gathering in Ellensburg.

Bring your 914 out for the weekend and hang out with other Teener over the 9/14 weekend. You'll receive directions for a Gimmick Ralley that leaves Redmond at 11:30 am on Saturday (after the 70th anniversary party for PCA) that will lead you to Snohomish for a pizza dinner.  You'll need a passenger to help you complete the quiz questions along the route. If you don't have someone to ride along, just driving the tour will be fun too.

On Sunday you'll be treated to a pancake breakfast in Orting and we'll announce the winner of the Gimmick Rally.  You'll get to meet with Chris Baker (Tigaboy) as he tells us about his Ferrari engined 914 build. After the presentation, there will be time for him to answer your questions and then you'll get directions for a fun tour on Hwy 410 to Lake Tipsoo and then over Chinook Pass to Naches where we'll stop for lunch. At that Point you may take highways back home or join us on a route to WA 821, The Canyon Road to Yakima.

Julie and I are planning to spend the night in Ellensburg at the Hotel Windrow. The prices are very reasonable and the rooms are very nice. There's plenty of places to grab dinner within walking distance and after a long day of driving its nice to relax. Hope that some of you will join us.
If your are coming from out of town, please reach out to us for hotel recommendations.

Just finished planning out the Gimmick rally drive for Saturday. Tomorrow morning we're going to drive it and double check some mileage while we come up with the quiz questions. It came out to 50 miles.

And the bridge that joins Orting to Enumclaw was damaged by a truck last week, so I need to come up with a reroute. Fortunately, there are lots of fun roads around here.

Cool! Shaping up to be a fun event!

Thank you both for putting in the time for this. Very much appreciated.
