I sent out a pedal assembly that was probably used for a boat anchor to Bruce Stone ( @bdstone914 ) to rebuild. I then sent him my seat rails and brackets. Not to say I gave him crap but this is where the seat rail came from:

These are the seat rails and brackets as I sent to him:

I didn't take a picture of the pedal assembly, but this should give you an idea of what the floor under the pedal assembly was like:

The pedal assembly was really pitted and rusted. I reached out to Bruce and he had no issue rebuilding it.

This is what I got back:

Seriously, these rails and brackets are new. The pedal assy came out great. I can't say enough about the value of his help and service. Don't be scared because he has an aol.com email account. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It's a real email account and he responds.

Regards,

DaveB

Great guy he is!
It was a shame to bury my pedal cluster under the wooden board.

Almost hate to hide this stuff, probably should go in a display case

With resources like this, our cars will be good for at least another 1/2 century

Bruce is typically my go-to guy for parts that I am looking for. Usually comes through with no drama. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Bruce is on my speed dial and PayPal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He's always willing to lend a hand in my garage.
I value his experience and input.
He works for $$, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) , plus cookies
Worth every penny. I try to reciprocate when I get a chance

Plus, he shows up with his own tools, gloves, and towels (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

When I grow up (and find more free time for the 914), my pedal assembly and seat rails are going to Bruce.

I'm consistently amazed by his work as well as the kudos from his customers.

Bought a lot of parts from Bruce. All looked like NOS after his handywork.
