This week end I had the opportunity record three different mufflers connected to 2.0 heat exchangers.

Stock - Scart Sport - Scart Super Sound

The big bumpered 914 is a 1.8 and had the cat removed and was converted to 1973-1974 2.0 heat exchangers
The green one is a stock 2.0
The last yellow one is a german 2.0 sold with no options at all... Not even retractable seat belts. The fist time I see that on a 2.0.

Enjoy

I love the sound of the Scart mufflers. Saw a video with a 1.7 motor and even that sounded awesome. I wish the cost was not so close to what i paid for my car. I hear shipping to the US is costly too. Anyone selling a used one?

Well hold on to yout panties because those things arent cheap.... They are almost twice the cost of the Tangeringe Racing Evo IV silencers.... I was quoted around $1600 including shipping for one. (shipping from France to Sweden)

Yes they are very expensive. They are hand made and on demand.

Worth it to make your car sound like you upgraded your engine.

Don’t think there’s anything stock or aftermarket that’s gonna be much quieter. AFAIK Leistritz and Bischoff(sp?)made the stock mufflers
You may want to take a ride to Tangerine’s shop and have a look/listen. Chris’ stuff is great.
