as stated in listing it is for a 1.7/1.8 heat exchanger but could be used on any car, i have a 2.0 car and have been running this for 5 years. I had planned on keeping my HE and not switching to the 2.0 HE due to the cost of the HE out there, really is not a big gain to switch but i am changing my muffler for a bit more quiet highway ride. I LOVE the sound of the triad's deeper throaty sound its not tin like or cheap raspy , but is a super set up and probably the best value out there for a performance muffler on a 914.

$800 for the muffler and the matching valance SET it s an OEM valance that was professionally repainted 2 years ago with the car. the matching right side exit was properly cut and bent to match the other side with a lip not just rough cut, there probably is not another one like it unless you made your own.
I
The triad is like 5 years old, less than 5000 miles on this car with this exhaust,

now i have $300 for the muffler and $500 for the valance, and i have an offer for the valance by itsself, so if anyone right now wants just the muffler, i can split them but first am offering this as a set for you here on world. I can arrange local delivery or pick up in the SC, GA, NC, FL areas, it would be expensive for you to ship , i will pack if you want to pay the freight.

thanks for that offer, that could work for someone on this coast that needs HE, muffler and valance all in.

Right now @mgphoto has spoke for the muffler, if he wants to pay shipping i will box it up for him. if that does not work will see what other interest i get.so far all inquiring has been from Cali.

here are some closeups of the finish of the valance. there is a bit of chipping around the right side outlet due to the pipe rubbing.

@rhodyguy , thank you for the bump and comments.

If someone wants a nice dual out valance and does not have the ability to do the fab and welding this would be perfect. I am tempted to hold on to it just in case i change my mind at some point and go back to that style muffler tips. Ben can make anything you want really. for now i will leave this posting up for this price but will not lower it further. the buyer of the muffler is considering the purchase but has not committed yet.

Dave at Triad just told me that he thinks I might have received the last one he will build.
He's having a rough time with his back. I just received mine about a month ago.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like the answer to this question... and I normally wouldn't do this either. But do you have any idea what it would cost to ship halfway across the country? Denver area...

I'd be happy to do that! I just have to find mounting hardware.
